Student Voice – the School Council
The School Council is run by students for students. An executive committee of 17 members oversees the year council structure. Each form tutor group will nominate 2 representatives for the year council. Year councils meet monthly and will address issues directed by the executive committee and those that are specific to their year group. Year reps are elected and then attend a whole school, School Council meeting each half term.
The School Council President and Vice Presidents will present the student voice commentary to the Senior Leadership Team and to the Personalised Learning Team. Responses to the Council’s concerns will then be taken back to form tutor groups by the class reps..
