BIS Principal's Newsletter Monday 7th March 2016

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Last Saturday was a busy morning on campus with the first Tag Rugby match of the season against Temple School. We are pleased to report that both BIS teams played very well indeed and were victorious on the day.

Mr Ajiboye led a group of our Art students to the Supreme Education Foundation for an AISEN Art competition. The students were a credit to BIS and acquitted themselves well.

We were pleased to welcome a number of parents to our second open morning for prospective Sixth Formers. We believe strongly that BIS offers a viable alternative to programmes overseas, particularly for those not quite ready to live in another country away from home. Anyone interested in learning more about our Sixth Form programme is welcome to come in and see us at any time. Our Registrar Mrs Arole, our Vice Principal Ms Bain and I will always be pleased to discuss our Sixth Form with you.

Year 7 Entrance Examination

A final reminder that our last entrance examination for our 2016 Year 7 intake will take place this Saturday (12th March) at school. The examinations will begin at 8.30 am. Forms are available from the Registrar’s Office.

Year 9 Wedding Project

The Year 9 Wedding Project will take place this Friday (11th March) between 11.00 am and 2.30 pm. As always this promises to be a colourful occasion and will be the tenth time that this event has taken place. All Year 9 parents are welcome to join us.
